Finally I decided to set a game rather than a goal. I called it the Change it Up Game. The intention was to loose weight as fast as was safely possible by not sticking to any one diet, because that had only failed in the past. My biggest obstacles with weight loss programs were self discipline and boredom. I’d get bored with the dieting so fast I just would not have the discipline to get past the third day or third week.
So my game was to work with myself rather than against myself and change my diet and exercise plan after every third week. And I set myself a mantra “I can do anything for 3 weeks”. So every three weeks I would change my eating plan and try a different lose weight fast diet. I’d change my exercise plan, keep myself excited as I loved change, hated routine and kept myself amused by saturating my brain with reading up on how to loose weight. Knowledge is power right?
